St. Lawrence church over village BašeljSuccursal church od St. Lawrence is originally romanic building with gothic presbytery. In 17th century the church was rebuilt. Frescoes on west wing wall dramatizing Three king visting Jesus is a work of furlanic painting masters from begining of 15th century. In the church yout can find gold-plated altars from 17th century and coffered celing from the end of 17th century, brought here from Breg at Preddvor church. According to old documents there has been a church at this location in the year 1154 already.
Archaeological site Gradišče over BašljemOn a hill overlooking Bašelj there have been found various ancient objects such as horse-drawn carriage, coins, rings, axes,…dating from Roman Empire and Ancient Slavic times.
